Vibease Ruby

I received the Vibease Ruby free of charge in exchange for my honest review for Vibease, I have previously reviewed Vibease products you can check my review out here. Vibease are known for creating vibrators that can be used through an app and also linked to Erotic Stories. This enables the Vibrator to be controlled remotely. The fact I was given this product free of charge will not affect the outcome of my review. If you are interested in finding out more about Vibease check them out here.

The Vibease Ruby is part of Vibease’s new Jewel line of luxury vibrators, they have created two “rabbit ear” style vibrator: Ruby which is the one I am reviewing and Emerald a pastel green vibrator that has more space out “ears” and has a wider more spherical base. They have also created Onyx: a Cockring that is chunky looking and black in colour.

The Vibease Ruby is a very slim vibrator that gets its name from the Ruby stone which is known for sexual energy and vitality. It is similar in thickness to a white board pen, just a little longer in length. It comes in a lovely pastel pink colour and features a clear plastic section at the base that has a colour changing LED that lights up when it is on and changes brightness/flashes depending on the vibration setting it is on. The Ruby is made from Matte silicone that is non- toxic, phthalate free and completely body safe. It is also waterproof and rechargeable. The handle of the Ruby features an intricate triangle shaped honey comb pattern. The body of the vibrator is smooth and tapers into two long pliable clothes peg shaped prongs. These prongs fit either side of the clitoris to provide a “rabbit ear” style of stimulation.

Inside the box you receive The Vibease Ruby as well as the USB charging cable and an instruction booklet. The Ruby is water-resistant which means is can be washed thoroughly and withstand a little water however it isn’t waterproof.  The charge port is just above the honey comb texture on the right hand side of the vibrator. There is a little pin hole that the pin pushes into. The LED will flash to indicate that it is charging and will light up continuously when it is fully charged. Charging the Vibease Ruby should take around 3 hours for a full charge the first time after this it should take around 2 hours.

To turn on the Vibease Ruby you press the power button which is located at the front of the vibrator midway on the honey comb texture. This is indicated by an O shape. It can be a little hard to see because it is on the textured surface and is the same pastel pink colour as the rest of the vibrator. Once you press the power button this will start the vibrations on the lowest continuous setting. To change the setting simply press the button over and over to cycle through the settings these consist of: Low, Medium and High followed by 5 other patterned, inclining and pulsating modes. To turn off the vibrations you just press and hold the button down for 3 seconds and this will turn the power off.

During use I found the Vibease Ruby very comfortable to use the slim line shape was incredibly easy to hold. The vibrations where super intense even on the lowest setting, for a small vibrator this packs a huge punch! I did find changing the setting a little difficult especially if you are mid-session, the outline of the O is very thin so trying to feel for it amongst the honey comb texture is quite difficult. That said the flexible prongs felt incredibly smooth and because they are flexibly I could adjust them very easily to fit my body. The vibration settings are intense this coupled with the pin point stimulation the prongs provide me this means I only really have to use the lowest continuous setting to achieve climax. I can also enjoy the Medium and High settings if I want a quicker climax however the lowest is pretty intense and gives me time to enjoy the sensation a little longer so I prefer this setting.

Overall I love the design of the Vibease Ruby it is very elegant and aesthetically pleasing, the only thing I would change is to make the power button a little more defined maybe place it above the texture or make it more thicker and more pronounced. The vibrations are incredibly intense for such a small vibrator which I wasn’t expecting but I am really impressed with how strong they are. The prongs are really flexible which is great because one size does not fit all and the flexibility enables the user to move them to adjust their needs.
