Iroha Temari Kaze

I received the Iroha Temari Kaze free of charge for my honest review for Iroha. Iroha are based in Japan and they create the most stunning vibrators I have ever seen. They are known for the super squishy Silicone they use on the products they make. You can see my previous Iroha reviews here. I highly recommend checking out the products they have on offer, I really do love most of the Iroha products I have tried over the years.

The Iroha Temari are designed to look like Temari a Japanese handicraft that traditionally used old scraps of Kimono silks to make a toy ball, these scraps are wrapped around the ball to create beautiful geometric patterns. Temari Balls are now made using embroidery and cotton and are given as a gifts or used for art/decoration.

There are three pattern/colour options to choose from. I chose the Iroha Temari Kaze which is covered in abstract floral designs that are Golden Yellow, Green, Blue and Red I chose this because I thought it was the most fun/colourful design however it was a hard decision as I really liked all of the designs. You can also get the Temari in Mizu which features Blue lines and a flower and Hana which has Red semicircles as well as floral shapes. All of these colour options are just as beautiful as each other much like the Temari Balls they come in some stunning patterns.

The Iroha Temari is a spherical ball on a plastic cup/base, this ball has a matte silicone with anti-dust coating that looks like frosted glass you can see the pattern underneath this film. The Iroha Temari Kaze ball can move right/left/up/down the movement is very similar to that of an analogue stick on a game controller it can be moved in circular motions too. I have to say I love that you can get so much movement from this unique little vibrator I don’t think I have come across another that does have this broad a spectrum of movement. The base that the Temari is nestled in is made from sturdy plastic which features a power button on the underside.

The Iroha Temari Kaze also comes with a storage cap (which features a very pretty Golden Yellow Iroha flower on the front) that is placed over the top of the Iroha Temari, This when just placed on the top slowly drops down to the base. I like this feature it is very smooth closing and doesn’t make a single sound no clicking and I love the fact you can place to lid on without even fully closing it and essentially closes itself. When this Cap is on it looks very spacey/ futuristic and if I am honest I think it is very discreet and unless someone knew of Iroha they wouldn’t know it was a vibrator.

The Iroha Temari Kaze is waterproof up to 50cm and rechargeable. It also comes with a magnetic USB cable that attaches onto the two prongs on the base of the Temari. I recommend charging it up when you first receive it for 120 mins this will give you a usage time of 90 mins on full strength. The Iroha Temari has a single button control, this is located at the underside of the base. To turn on the vibrations you press and hold this button in for three seconds. This will start the vibrations on the lowest continuous setting. To then change the setting you can press the button in again and you will cycle through 5 continuous vibration settings from lowest to strongest. If you press the button again and you will then cycle through the 2 rhythm modes before returning to the continuous modes again. To turn off the vibrations you press and hold the button for 3 seconds and it will turn off the vibrations.

During use I found I liked using the Iroha Temari Kaze in a rolling motion. I used my wrist in a rolling motion this moved the Temari in a circular motion and I have to say it feels incredible! I tried using a few motions like side to side and up and down but found the circular motion felt the best for me. I always start off using the lowest continuous setting and work my way up. I do like to finish on the highest continuous setting. The 5 continuous settings available to me are plenty and I enjoy using each one.

Overall I really love not only the design but also how well the Iroha Temari Kaze preforms during use. The Iroha Temari fits nicely n the palm of my hand and I like that Iroha have continued to use the simple one button control. I really do think it would also make a great gift for those that want to treat a loved one. The Iroha Temari offers broad stimulation so it is perfect for those who like me prefer broader stimulation as opposed to pin point stimulation.
