Arcwave Voy

It’s been two years since reviewing a male toy from Arcwave, now they are back with yet another masturbator. Arcwave decided to send over their new Tightness Adjusting Stroker called Joy for an honest and non-biased review.

The Arcwave Voy comes in a sleeve covered box with the sleeve explaining the product features in detail, while the box inside the sleeve is kept discreet with its plain white exterior while having a blue to teal gradient showing in its indentation inside. The box folds open from the top with the inside containing instructions on the lid-side of the box and the Compact Stroker, 10ml Pjur Water based Lube and a small box containing both Safety instructions and Manual.

Features mentioned are the Tightness Adjustment System which targets the pressure-sensitive Merkel-Ranvier pleasure receptors. This is controlled by an adjustable ring located near the Upper Opening, there are a total of 8 levels of tightness to help you find that perfect fit. CleanTech silicone which makes it super smooth, hygienic, and durable. Compact size which allows it to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand, and its slim design helps to keep the product discreet and easy to carry around.

Your first time can be quite tedious with sex toy you have never used before, so let me explain on how you can start your journey. The Voy comes with two lids located both at the top and bottom parts of the product, this is to protect the silicone sleeve inside. As mentioned before the Adjustment Ring can be located next to the upper opening, this can be used to alternate between its 8 adjustable tightness settings. You can use the Voy however you like, as you can choose either of the two openings. Please be aware that you should use lube before every use on both the product and you to keep you comfortable and avoid any damage.

When it came time to use the Voy, I removed both protector lids and applied lube to myself and the silicone sleeve inside. I inserted myself into the sleeve as soon as I was ready, and kept to the lowest setting, which is also the loosest, while gradually moving to the highest setting which would be the tightest. While in use I switched sides to try the alternate opening, I started with the tight opening and then moved to the wider opening later. These was both enjoyable. However, I started to notice it was easier to change the tightness while using it from the lower opening (Which was the wider opening) and I have just noticed while writing this review that it looks like you can change which opening you would like at the upper/lower opening as the sleeve is the same on the inside of the outer part of the joy. I can’t see this in the instructions, but it does seem like this is an option you can do if you like to alternate settings when in use, which gives you more options before using the joy. The sleeve has a good basic texture and goes nicely with the tightness ring, I would like to see some alternate sleeves with different textures to add to the tightness which I think would be a great selling point for Arcwave.

Cleaning the product is a breeze as it’s a 100% waterproof on the silicone and the outer part or sleeve container. The easiest method to clean your Voy is to run it under water, you can use toy cleaner or antibacterial soap and run your fingers inside the sleeve to get better cleaning results. Once cleaned you can apply the bottom protector lid and leave on the side to dry. These lids come with special ventilation holes which help you air dry your Voy, these protector lids will also keep your Voy clean and safe during storage and traveling.

If you are a regular user, It would be highly advised that you remove the sleeve from the container and clean both separately for the cleanest results. It’s advised to dry the sleeve container with a towel and then insert the sleeve back in and continue to dry as recommended.

Overall, my experience with the Arcwave Voy has been a positive one as the tightness settings have given me the option to choose a setting, I’m most comfortable with, which is good for multiple users as they have multiple options to choose from. The sleeve texture went well with the tightness settings, however I would have like to see some alternate textured sleeves to be introduced in the future. I love the portability and the ease-of-use and cleaning, which allows you to take this anywhere you wish with how discreet it can look it can be mistaken for a canister on a camping trip. I’m grateful to Arcwave for the chance to review this item and hope to work with more in the future.
