We have received the Ion by Arcwave for an honest review in return, the Arcwave Ion is yet to be released to the public and this review is a completely non-biased. The Arcwave Ion is a new addition to the male sex toy industry with a new technology which can create a female orgasm for men. It is known to be the world’s first stroker to apply “Pleasure Air” to the male body and states to give body shaking experiences at the touch of a button.
Apart from the Pleasure Air technology the Arcwave Ion also comes with other technologies, such as Smart Silence which starts and stops when it senses skin contact. Also included is the CleanTech Silicone which is super smooth, hygienic and durable. You can also twist the Arcwave Ion to remove the upper half to help with cleaning the silicone and device separately.
Included with the Arcwave Ion is a small set of instructions shown on the inside of the box which states the following:
- Turn on your Ion by pressing the (+) button for two seconds until it rubles. Your Ion will start in Smart Silence mode.
- Apply water-based lube to both your Ion and your penis for maximum enjoyment.
- Slide your penis inside. Smart Silence starts and stops simulation automatically as the Pleasure Air zone senses skin contact.
A full manual is also included a small pouch within the box of the Arcwave Ion, within the manual includes information on how to use the device.
There are three buttons available, a plus button which increases the intensity levels and the minus button to decrease the levels of intensity. There is also a Standby button which is designed to make the device battery friendly, the device will also switch off automatically three minutes of inactivity.
Also included within the manual are some cleaning tips which come in handy with a device with new technology, this device is IPX7 Waterproof which allows for some easy cleaning. To thoroughly clean the device it is advised to twist to detach the sleeve from the device, and once the silicone has been removed to immerse the sleeve in water. You can apply some antibacterial soap or some toy cleaner to help with the cleaning process, once clean you can dry the sleeve with a dry towel or cloth. The same also applies with the device however, you can clean the Pleasure Air opening with your fingers and apply some soap or toy cleaner and dry off with a towel or cloth. Once completely clean you can twist the device to lock back into place.
The storage base which is included can be opened by pressing the release buttons, this is where you can find the device when opening it for the first time. You can use the DryTech pack inside the DryTech stick which helps to ensure the toy is completely dry.
Please note that drying the device before storage can increase the lifespan of the DryTech pack.
You are able to recover the capacity of your DryTech by placing it within a microwave on the low power setting of 300W (or use the defrost setting) for 10 minutes. Direct contact with water must be avoided!
It is recommended to fully charge the device before your first use as the charging process can take up to 85 mins and you can enjoy up to 60 mins of pleasure at maximum intensity. The A logo on the device will flash when the battery is low and will turn off within 3 minutes. This indicates the device needs to be charged. The charging base has three LEDs which display the battery life of the device. These LEDs show the following status:
- Low: the lower LED will blink
- Medium: the middle LED will blink
- High: the top LED will blink
- Fully Charged: All LEDs will illuminate
