So Divine ‘Addicted’ Vibrating Love Egg

I received the So Divine ‘Addicted’ Vibrating Love Egg free of charge in exchange for my honest review for So Divine. I have previously reviewed products from So Divine you can see them here. So Divine are a brand that cater more towards beginners with their range available at Boots which makes them available to anyone who wants a sex toy but may not want to shop in your typical SexToy store.

The So Divine ‘Addicted’ Vibrating Love Egg is the first Love Egg that So Divine have created. It comes in one colour which is a deep pink/plum colour. It is also rechargeable and water resistant as well as being remote controlled (up to 5 meters). It comes with a USB charging cable, remote and storage bag for easy storage. The So Divine ‘Addicted’ Vibrating Love Egg is made from ABS plastic and body safe silicone. If you do encounter any faults with your Addicted Egg you are covered by the So-Divine 2 year warranty which is great!

The shape of the So Divine ‘Addicted’ Vibrating Love Egg makes it incredibly easy to insert. The main problem for me with Kegel/Love Eggs in general is that they are usually rounded and I find them quite tricky to insert. The Tapered tip on this Egg enables me to insert it much easier than I would if it was a rounder surface. It gives my vagina time to expand to accommodate it gradually. It then has a bulbous body followed by a tapered neck although not the usual shape used for an Egg the shape to me makes loads of sense it fits comfortably with my body.

At the moment I’m 7 months pregnant and I’m doing my Kegels religiously, because there’s nothing like having a baby kick you in the bladder to motivate you to do them! Not only do “Love Eggs” provide vibration/stimulation to your vaginal canal but they are a really good way to practice your pelvic floor exercises. Whilst wearing the So Divine ‘Addicted’ Vibrating Love Egg squeeze and hold your pelvic floor, I usually find my pelvic area gets tense and my vaginal canal draws up so I know I’m tensing those muscles. As you do this hold for 30 seconds and relax again. Do 3 reps of 10 3 times a day and you’ll notice your pelvic floor muscles get stronger. This needs to be done religiously and over a long period of time for you to notice any improvement.  The added weight of a Kegel Ball/ Love egg acts as a weight to train your muscles with. The vibrations are a bonus as you can also be stimulated through your exercise session.

The So Divine ‘Addicted’ Vibrating Love Egg has a total of 7 vibration settings the First 3 are continuous vibration settings which consist of Low, Medium and High the other 4 are pulsations, inclining and patterned modes. To operate your Addicted Love Egg you Press and hold the button on the Egg for 2 seconds you will know it’s on when you see the LED light up the button. You then insert the Egg with the cord outside the vagina like a tampon. To make insertion easier find a chair/bed to lay back on and slowly insert make sure you are relaxed and use a generous helping of lube.

Once inserted you can then move around like you would if you didn’t have it inserted your vaginal muscles will tighten around it stopping it from falling out. Remember to use your Kegel muscles to clench around the Egg. You can then use the remote to start the vibrations. Just simply point in the direction of your pubic area and press the button on the remote. When pressed once the vibrations will start on low, you can then press again and again to cycle through the vibrations and patterns. If you are feeling adventurous then you could give the remote to a partner and let them have control of the vibrations. This could be a great way of bringing  an Egg into your foreplay letting a partner have control over the vibrations you are feeling is a great way  for them to tease you.

To turn off the vibrations point the remote and press and hold the button on the remote for 3 seconds this will turn the vibration off. You can then remove the Egg by the retrieval cord and then press and hold the button on the Egg to turn the Egg off.

I found the vibrations on the So Divine ‘Addicted’ Vibrating Love Egg where quite buzzy which is something I like. The continuous vibrations are my favourite as with most vibrators I tend not to care for the patterned modes but they are there if you need them. I like how it starts on the lowest vibration intensity enabling me to warm up to the vibration before the high setting. I did find the cord which also acts as an antenna for the remote to signal to needs to be right outside the vagina. If I crossed my leg over the other one it blocked the signal, this was also the case if I had my legs tightly closed together. So for the Addicted Egg to work at its best I’d suggest sitting /standing/laying with your legs slightly parted so the connection isn’t lost.

I likes how small and lightweight the remote was the single button is incredibly easy to use for both beginners and those who want a partner to handle the remote. The battery for the remote was included so when I opened the box it was ready to use and I didn’t have to hunt for a battery which was great. I do suggest charging the Egg before use I usually do an overnight charge for the first charge with all of my rechargeable sex toys beforehand.

Overall I think the So Divine ‘Addicted’ Vibrating Love Egg is reasonably priced and works well. Not only can it be used for Kegel exercises but with the remote it can also be used for foreplay or even a bit of teasing and edge play. I love how So Divine is available at a large Pharmacy store which is less intimidating than a sextoy shop for those who are just starting out/ beginners.
