Ardor Bending Time

I received the Ardor Bending Time game free of charge in exchange for my honest review for Ardor. I have previously reviewed the original Ardor game a few years back so I was delighted when they got in contact to tell me they have made an updated version. The fact I was given this product free of charge will not affect the outcome of my review.

Ardor can be played by multiple people however you do need a minimum of two players. It can be adapted for 3-4 or even more players (given there’s enough cards to play). It can be used to spice up your bedroom antics and give you an easy transition into experimenting in the bedroom.

Ardor Bending Time is split into two parts. Part one is the original Ardor game I will link my other review so you can get a detailed explanation of the way you play part 1 here. You take turns to each place a card down this card must either be in the same set or point as the card before. You then act out each card as you play. If you cannot match the point or set of the card in play on your next go you place down any card in your hand ( 5 cards to each hand) you then loose the trick so all cards in that trick go to the player who last put down a card of the appropriate set or point. Each time a card is placed down you draw a new card from the top of the deck to replace it in your hand. This continues until there are no cards left to play, you then count each card you’ve won through the trick and the winner then gets to use their cards in part 2.

The one thing I did note is that a few of the cards include anal play, this is not something that I can participate in so I removed those cards from the deck. Also some of the sex positions I found difficult with a growing 4 month bump it was hilarious me trying to attempt certain positions. I think it’s wise to go through the whole deck beforehand and just remove any cards that aren’t suitable for you. I also figure some of the position cards may be difficult if you have a disability or if you can’t support the other person, just remove them and modify the game to suit your needs.

Enhancements such as sex toys and impact items can be added to the game through “enhancements” these can be added to enhance to activity preformed such as a vibrators during a sex position or flavoured lube to a cunnilingus card.

The Second Part of the Ardor Bending Time Game is played by the winner of the last round picking 4 of each set so dare, foreplay and sex. You can then use enhancements, level ups, accessory and ardour cards for each card you play. You can also add a time stopper card to give you a longer amount of time to act out that card. The winner of part 1 announces each card and if/ what enhancements have been added to the activity before you act it out. Each card is then played out until there are none in the deck.

Again we decide to play the second half until we were satisfied we wanted to end our love making and end the game. So ultimately for us there’s never a true winner but we do enjoy having fun and acting out the cards how it suits us.

Alternatively you can just play the 2^nd part of the Ardor Bending Time game which 4 cards can be chosen from the whole deck for each suit and of course you can either take turns to decide which cards to choose and play or pick a main person as there would be no winner from part 1. I think the 2^nd part is great for those short on time or those who want to jump straight into the game.

We enjoyed the new Bending Time addition to the Ardor game and each card is written with clear instructions the Sex cards come with cartoon like drawings on them which demonstrate the position. I think the Bending time aspect could be a lot of fun for multiple players as it can be played quickly enabling everyone to get a turn. This could be adapted by each person choosing one of each set of cards and then taking turns to be the “winner” and play their card, going around in a clockwise motion to each player. The best part about Ardor Bending Time is that you can Bend the rules to suit your style of play.
