We have received the Pocket Pulse Remote from Hot Octopuss for an honest review, at first glance the packaging shows that this is a luxury item. Can it prove to us that it’s a luxury item? Moving on we can see that included with the Pocket Pulse Remote is a Hot Octopuss silk bag to keep the product safe from contact with other sex toys. Also allowing people to be more discreet with their sex toys by keeping them safe, hidden away and out of sight. Considering I have a horde of sex toys I will be making use out of the included silk bag,  this will allow me to store any added extras with the pocket pulse remote. Contents of the silk-bag contain the Pocket Pulse, charging cable and remote, this is brilliant as you can keep all the accessories in one place giving you the option not to lose the charging cable or remote which would most likely happen.

Taking a closer look at the Pocket Pulse Remote, we can see the similarities of the Pulse II Duo as the shape and design have been captured and redesigned into a Pocket Pulse rather than a couples toy. Redesigned to be more lightweight with powerful pulses, the Pocket Pulse Remote has now added a flexible expanding arm allowing the Pocket Pulse Remote to be used with any size penis. A vibration focal point is also the main key feature of this pocket pulse, similar to its Pulse II Duo counterpart located at the tip of the pocket pulse. The Pocket Pulse uses two vibration motors that work in a tandem alternating vibrations to give the same effect as previous Pulse models, also enabling the design to be lightweight and compact. There are speed adjustments located on the sides of the masturbator.They also included a groove around the pocket pulse allowing more comfort for your hand when in a stroking motion and to increase grip.

The Pocket Pulse Remote is rechargeable and comes with a USB charge cable, you can charge up the Pocket Pulse via the indentation at the base of the Pocket pulse you simply push the charging pin in the hole and set it on charge. The Pocket Pulse Remote is also waterproof so you need not worry about getting it wet during cleaning for whilst using it. It has two vibration motors catered to the pulse plate they alternate vibrations creating a pulsing sensation. You can control the Pocket Pulse Remote by using the remote just press and hold the + button on the Pocket Pulse to turn it on the LED at the base of the Pocket Pulse will turn blue, then use the + and – buttons on the remote to control the intensities. You can also just use the + and – buttons on either side of the Pocket Pulse to control the intensities. To turn off the Pocket Pulse remote you press and hold the – button the Led will turn off.

Using the Pocket Pulse Remote was a good experience, apart from a few issues that I will underline shortly. Apart from that, I found that applying lube was a smooth experience and I didn’t feel the need to insert my self to cover the sleeve of the Pocket Pulse fully. This allowed me to relax and enjoy the experience, once the lube was applied I was able to use the pocket pulse flaccid to see how this would work. To start off, this was a great experience and helped with getting me erect. Other than that the longer I was using the stoker the more lacklustre it felt, this was due to the way the toy uses a pulse instead of an active vibration. The best way to improve this if feel would be to add another pulsating motor on the opposite side of the pocket pulse, giving the pocket pulse to feel like it surrounds the whole circumference of the Penis. Allowing not only for the Pulsations to be felt underneath the Penis but along the top of the penis which I felt didn’t get much stimulation. In my experience with the female orgasm I tend to feel a pulsating tightness, this also allows the pocket pulse to give off that experience. Even though I have not had the best experience with the vibrations, I still believe that this is a good toy and the reason for that is how easy you can get this Pocket Pulse Remote out and use. In my experience with masturbators and strokers I find it a tedious experience with the “prep-work” but with this, it seems to be more straightforward and relaxing making the whole experience much more worth my time.

Washing the pocket pulse remote is far from a tedious experience, this is due to the opening allowing you to simply rinse off any access lube and simply dry off by leaving on a dry towel. Most of my masturbators or strokers never feel a 100% clean when washed and scrubbed, and this is due to the awkwardness of washing and drying through small openings. So far I have not had a horrible experience with cleaning a Hot Octopuss product due to the easy access to the “Use Area”.

The Overall experience with the pocket pulse remote was a good one. The pulsating vibrations helped me with getting erect. Once erect this starts to become more of a numbing flick to your shaft which is quite off-putting, as noted earlier if there were multiple motors around the sleeve I believe this would be a more enjoyable and satisfying experience. I would still recommend this product even after some key points against the vibrations as it’s easy to use, hassle free and it does its job, but I was just looking for more than what I was receiving.

The intensities of the Pulsations just weren’t enough to get me to orgasm, I found that the Pocket Pulse Remote worked incredibly well when flaccid and got me aroused quite quickly. However, when I was at the height of orgasm it just wasn’t powerful enough to get me over the edge. The Remote is also great for use with a partner. You can give it to a partner to control whilst you use the Pocket Pulse yourself. I do like that aspect of couples pay however I feel it would work a hell of a lot better if I managed to reach orgasm.
