Doxy Number 3

I was very lucky to receive the Doxy Number 3 free of charge in exchange for my honest review for Crimson Princess. Crimson Princess are a UK based retailer who offer a wide range of affordable sextoys, so if you haven’t already checked their website out go do so! As always the fact I was given this product free of charge is not going to affect the outcome of my review.

Doxy Number 3 essentially a smaller version of the Doxy Die Cast. My previous experience with Doxy wands are they are amazing but heck there overly large and after a while you’re bound to get dead arm. Well my prayers where answered and they made a smaller version.

The Doxy Number 3 came in a slim box which has the Doxy lettering across the front this is covered in a cardboard sleeve which has a picture of the Doxy Number 3. The Doxy Number 3 is definitely more comfortable to handle compared to the bigger sibling the Doxy Die Cast, it also feels half the weight which is fab like I mentioned previously I am prone to getting Dead Arm when using the Doxy Die Cast too long.

The Doxy Number 3 also offers a smaller rounder head which I feel is a more comfortable fit between the outer labia. This head is also removable! Yes you can finally unscrew the head to wash it without getting the main body and plug splashed trying to clean it in the bathroom. With the new smaller head you simply unscrew it off and then you are able to wash it with soap and water and let it air dry before screwing it back on. This head is made from body safe 100% silicone.

The Doxy Number 3 has some very impressive LED lights. The buttons light up with blue LED’s this is very helpful when you have the lights off or low light as you are able to see the buttons clearly so you won’t be fumbling for those buttons and accidently press the wrong one. The body of the Doxy Number 3 is made from polished Titanium Alloy this gives an almost brushed look, it isn’t shiny mirrored metal but a more brushed metal you cannot see your reflection in. This finish means you don’t really get too many fingerprints on the body so you don’t have to worry about polishing it for it to look shiny.

The Doxy Number 3 is made and designed in the UK. My doxy has a UK plug attached to the power cord. This is a mains powered vibrator so that means you simply just plug the plug into the socket and them you’re ready to go, you will not be able to use the Doxy Number 3 without a power source as it does not have a rechargeable battery. Also the fact that it is mains powered means you won’t run out of charge mid masturbation.

Somehow they managed to cram all the power of the larger Doxy into this smaller version. Does size matter? Well in this case no I have to admit I did worry how the Doxy Number 3 would compare to the larger versions however they managed to pack all that power into a body that is a lot smaller and more portable. I have taken my Die Cast on holiday a few times the size means it’s very hard to pack into a smaller luggage bag the Doxy Number 3 is a lot more portable and more travel friendly.

To turn on the Doxy Number 3 you plug it into a socket, press the power button and the vibrations will start. They start from 75% power which means you have to then press the – button to bring the vibrations down. I tend to keep pressing the – button until it is on the lowest setting then I find I can comfortably use the Doxy on the lowest setting to warm up to the sensation.

Once this is done whatever setting you choose to finish on once you turn the Doxy Number 3 off it will then start on that setting so if you prefer to start on the lowest vibration setting before you turn off your doxy go back to that setting that way when you start it up next time it will already be on the lowest setting. To change setting you simply press the + button to increase the intensity then the – to decrease the intensity. You can then select a pulsation/pattern mode by holding the power button you can then increase and decrease the intensity of the pulse setting using the + and – Buttons. To turn off the Doxy Number 3 you just press the power button.

During use I was actually shocked at how much I prefer the Doxy Number 3 over the Doxy Die Cast it has all the power of the Die Cast but in a smaller casing. The size is very comfortable to handle especially for a long period of time, it has a slimmer handle which is great because I have tiny hands and they actually fit all the way around the handle.

The head being relatively smaller an a more spherical shape fits nicely between my labia I have found the larger models tend to squash my outer labia where was the size of the Doxy Number 3 means I can target the vibrations to go directly on my clit and inner labia as opposed to the majority of the surface area being on my outer labia like the original. I much prefer the size and shape of the Doxy Number 3 Head.

The Doxy Number 3 sends deep vibrations into the clitoral area which means it actually stimulates the internal clitoris too so you get a more intense orgasm, this coupled with the intensely strong vibrations means when I’m done I’m in pure immobile bliss just waiting for the wave to pass.

The Doxy Number 3 may be small but it’s mighty indeed! I am very impressed with the power and effectiveness of the Doxy Number 3. It is a better option I feel to the larger doxy’s this model has features they don’t (removable head) but it still stays true to the power and awesomeness of the original Doxy’s. Given the choice I would choose the Doxy Number 3 over the others it’s more travel friendly and overall better value.
