I was given the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation free of charge in exchange for my honest review for Satisfyer. The fact I was given this product free of charge is not going to affect the outcome of this review. Satisfyer so far have been amazing! They have been able to create a more accessible and great value pulse toy for almost every type of consumer.
Satisfyer announced they were launching a new wave of their original models. They had listened to everyone’s feedback and have made improvements to the Satisfyer Pro 2, Satisfyer Pro Penguin , Satisfyer 1, Satisfyer 2 and Satisfyer Pro Deluxe.
The Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation looks the cutest they have given it more of an actual “penguin” aesthetic it even had a little bow tie! My inner geek just needs to test that one out. I did love the Pro Penguin so I would be interested to see what improvements they have made to that one also.
Although a lot of companies do use a singular button controls it can be rather annoying when you have to turn the whole toy off to start all over again just to get the original setting you was on.
I just want to take a moment here to appreciate how Satisfyer have used everyone’s reviews to improve their products. Not only have they been great with bloggers letting us review their products without hesitation. They have also listened to feedback and improved the Satisfyer models. That’s the whole point of reviews, companies should take back the feedback and improve the quality of the product.
Unfortunately some well most companies don’t do this. As a blogger who reviews sextoys I have previously been requested to even change a negative review (which I will not do!) because the company felt it was unfair, instead of taking my feedback and improving the product.
That’s enough on that lets get back to the review of the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next generation. The first improvement is obvious. The single button now has a (+) and a (–) marking. They have transformed the single button into two, one that increases the setting (+) and one that decreases the settings (-). It still has the same 11 speeds like the Pro 2 and it is still 100% waterproof.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation also has a new look instead of that gold/bronze colour of the Pro 2 (which was nice anyway) they have made the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next generation a lovely rose gold colour. I do love how this colouration is a little softer. The Pro 2 has a smooth finish whereas the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next generation has an almost matte finish this helps with grip during use.
The Pro 2 has an LED which is lost on the Pro 2 Next Generation instead the power button lights up and gets brighter as you increase the intensity and dims when you decrease the intensity. The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next generation also has the Satisfyer writing across the handle which I think looks a lot better.
The actual head is different too. The Satisfyer pro 2 Next generation has a larger more spherical hole as opposed to the thinner oval hole of the Pro 2.
The improvement to me that makes the most impact is how quiet they have made the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next generation compared to the original Satisfyer Pro 2, even switching them on the lowest setting the Pro 2 sounds so much loud. The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next generation is barely audible on the lowest setting in comparison.
During use I Found the pulses felt a little more rumbly. I also noticed I only needed to be on the second setting to orgasm. I am glad the stimulation wasn’t lost during the improvements they have made. I found using the (+) and (–) buttons a breeze if I say went up to the 4th intensity and it was too intense, I just pressed the (–) button so my stimulation wasn’t lost.
I would say to me it feels more powerful than the original of course I am not going to need to use it on the 11th setting as even the 4th is too strong for my clit. However those that need more power will love the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation.
I do think that the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next generation is better than the Satisfyer Pro 2 it has a better shaped hole in the head, It also has a better look and feel. The (+) and (–) buttons can only be an improvement and the noise level is minimal. I do think it is the better option to purchase.
