Male Nereid

I received the Male Nereid free of charge in exchange for my honest review for Tails and Portholes. The Owner Brandie is a lovely lady that creates each piece from scratch. The fact I received the Nereid free of charge is not going to affect the outcome of this review.

I have been twitter stalking her since she started out. Back then there was only one model available which was the Nereid this was very reasonable priced and looked amazing I was drawn to the semi realistic design. When Brandie first started out she had basic materials/equipment and did most work by hand, she then got a vacuum chamber to get rid of more bubbles, the first few Nereids she made had slight imperfections such as air bubbles etc. Now her dildos are more seamless she now 3D prints the models for the mould compared to her early models which where sculpted in clay by hand.

Brandie gave me the choice to review the Male Nereid or Abyssal I went for the Nereid. I had no idea what firmness or colour it was going to be so I had a huge surprise when I opened the box to find a lovely Purple,Blue,Grey,Pearl,Black Nereid that has sort of stripes along the shaft I am sure there’s some sparkly shimmer in there too. It kind of matches my blog colouring which is cool. The colour is truly beautiful.  The Male Nereid comes in 3 firmness options Dual Density (firm inner core squishy outer), Soft or Hard mine is super squishy, like really it’s amazing and I can’t stop squeezing it. With each Tails and Portholes toy you also get a silicone scale pendant along with a storage bag little touches like this make the experience more personal.

On to shipping I don’t usually comment on shipping etc. However this girl gets top marks for discreetness. My Male Nereid came in a plain brown box and on the custom declaration there where the words “Silicone Art Sculpture” so if you live in shared accommodation or just don’t want the postie knowing what’s in the box they wouldn’t know it is a dildo. So I was super happy with that but also she marked the item as a gift which means I didn’t get charged for fees.

The Male Nereid is a semi realistic dildo that is based from a Sea Nympth/Mermaid/God that is a mystical sea creature. Now the Male Nereid is an adaptation of that. It has typical male gendered shape along with a fine intricate line of scales along the dorsal side of the shaft running from the Corona from the Frenulum down to the base of the dildo. It is a truly magnificent dildo and the Glans is very prominent and nicely rounded which I like. The shaft varies in girth the widest point being the centre of the shaft. Again each detail made me think that this is a more realistic looking dildo it’s not symmetrical and it has all the curves and edges of your regular penis. At the base of the dildo is an imprint that features T and P with the & being an anchor symbol between to two. This is the Tails and Portholes mark I think that it was recently changed so on the newer models it may feature an anchor.

Tails & Portholes offers you to select the firmness and colour options when ordering your dildo to make it specifically to your needs. You can select which colours you would like for example you can pick from the already listed colours like the Mermaids tail, Koi which is my personal favourite or you can send her a picture or have her base it of an object and she will do a damn pretty good job of creating it.

During use I am able to feel the scales I think they were sculpted in the right place as it adds texture to the thrusts. They brush across the back wall of my vagina and feels incredible. The head is amazing I didn’t think I would be able to notice I much during use but it sits perfectly and hook just behind my g spot. The size of the shaft is quite similar in girth to Mr’s so I was very comfortable with the size of girth, However it is a little shorter than Mr so I was able to thrust all the way down the shaft with ease. I think the size is just perfect in both length and girth and it is a very manageable dildo for beginners or more experienced dildo users.

The softness of the silicone also made it feel incredibly comfortable in use whilst having vaginal orgasms I was able to keep the Male Nereid inside me and my vagina just clenched around it because the silicone has a lot of give it was really comfortable.
